Thank you for visiting my site. I've been medical doctor for over 30 years, with 15 years living & working as a children's emergency doctor in Southern Africa (Malawi & South Africa). In 2022 I completed a Master's in Public Policy (MPP) at Princeton University, School of Public & International Policy Affairs (SPIA). I now work as a global health consultant, focused on improving emergency health care in Low- & Middle-Income Countries (LMIC) as well as working part-time in the UK NHS as a locum consultant paediatrician.
My areas of interest include: healthcare systems strengthening, emergency medicine & transport, triage, standards, health education & training, referral systems and child health - particularly paediatric acute and emergency care in LMIC. At Princeton I developed additional expertise in the effects of climate change on health, international health security and health policy challenges in LMIC, My mission is to use the knowledge, skills and experience I've acquired to help reduce the number of children dying in emergency settings globally.
I hope this website will give you an idea of my goals and values, as well as an overview of my career and professional achievements to date.
